The functional requirements that the user must meet in order to use the product are represented in a table in a simple and easy to understand way.
2 Table presentation
The requirements that the user must meet in order to use the product are presented in a two-column, multi-row table that includes the user's bodily functions. Each function is qualified with different levels according to the skill that is necessary to use the product:
Null . The user can use the product despite lacking that function. The table cell has a white background color.
Low . User can use the product with low skill level. The table cell has a light green background color.
Medium . The user can use the product with medium skill level. The table cell has a pink background color.
High . User can use the product with high skill level. The table cell has a dark red background color.
- . The dash indicates that the function is irrelevant to the use of the product.
Table 1 - Functional requirements
The table shows the relevant functional requirements that the user must meet to use the product The columns of the table provide the following information: 1st functional capacity, 2nd skill level that the user has for that capacity

3 Table presentation before 2021
Before 2021, the suitability of the product was displayed in a table format following the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) .
This help page also explains how the "International Classificationof Functioning, Disability and Health" (ICF) is used on the AT Observatory website, especially in the "Assistive Products Catalog" section. The use made of the ICF classification is limited, so the aid presented only covers the components used: "Body Functions and Body Structures" and "Activities and Participation". The two components are used with an operational classification scheme, to assess whether a product can be used by users:
CAPABILITIES that a person must have to use the product (Functional requirements).
DIFFICULTIES that the product allows to overcome to carry out the tasks that the user needs (Application scope).
Example tables are shown.
