Harris Communications' logo

Harris Communications, Inc. was established as a mail order catalog company in 1982 by Dr. Robert Harris. Dr. Harris is a member of the deaf community and began as a local distributor of assistive devices for the deaf in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Since that time, the customer base has expanded to the national and international level, selling direct to customers and through resellers to individuals who are deaf, have some level of hearing loss, or are interested in sign language.

From just a select number of products in 1982 to today, the product line currently includes over 2,000 products designed to help individuals in their everyday lives, with new items continually being considered for the catalog and online webstore.
